Clays Soho

You might think of clay pigeon shooting as a distinctly countryside pursuit, but Clays has brought the sport right into the heart of the city, no wellies needed. Its Soho flagship swaps muddy fields for 4K screens, cocktails, DJs and a healthy dose of competitive spirit.

At Clays, state-of-the-art technology transforms traditional clay pigeon shooting into a virtual game, with plenty of options for different-sized groups. Choose from the quick-fire arcade, where you can go head-to-head across a range of games, semi-private shooting pegs, or a secret hideaway complete with its own private bar. Wherever you settle in, huge 4K screens keep the action immersive.

The large central bar is just as serious about its drinks as Clays is about its gaming technology. Mixologist techniques, including clarification, carbonation, butter-washing and layered infusions go into a menu of cocktails that feel considered and are often named with a playful shooting-themed twist, like the comforting Precision Punch, made with Havana spiced rum, caramel, citrus, banana and coffee. Lighter options like the Sunshine Gimlet combine watermelon vodka or grapefruit gin with pandan and jasmine cordial.

The drinks come with a menu of seasonal British sharing plates, from fresh salads and sliders to pizzettes, sweet treats and plenty of dishes designed for passing around the table. DJs provide the soundtrack, keeping the energy up and the atmosphere lively between games.

Whether you're organising a team-building session, hen do, birthday or simply want to spend Saturday night doing something a little different, Clays Soho offers a more competitive and memorable alternative to the usual drinks. Part shooting range, part late-night bar, it's competitive socialising with a distinctly London twist. Bottomless weekend brunches and regularly rotated seasonal game modes add another dimension to this multilayered spot.
