The Arch House

The Bermondsey taproom of the Anspach & Hobday craft brewery is located in a high-ceilinged arch and offers plenty of wooden tables and benches to sit, socialise and sip on freshly poured pints.

Anspach & Hobday is an independent craft brewery that is at the forefront of the new wave of craft beer in London, in no small part due to its willingness to experiment with flavours. With a dedicated team of beer aficionados running the operations, the brewery offers bold choices such as a sea salt & chilli stout or a series of sours featuring fruit such as lychee and guava. The brewery is far from some novelty purveyor, as it also produces a core range of classic beers that form the backbone of its offer.

The Arch House is Anspach & Hobday’s taproom on the Bermondsey Beer Mile. With a high ceiling and polished wood tables, it provides a touch of class to an otherwise welcoming setting for enjoying one of the brewery’s twelve beers on tap. The venue also often hosts different events, from beer-related opera nights and stand-up comedy to craft beer festivals, competitions, tastings and new product launches. The Arch House has a capacity of 100 and can also be booked for private events, including parties, craft classes and more. The Maltby and Druid Street Food Markets are also nearby, in case you're in the mood for a snack.
