Occupying a former tea warehouse in a corner of the Hay's Galleria shopping centre, The Horniman at Hays features an evocative interior with golden taps crowning the marble-top bar. The riverside pub also boasts an outdoor terrace, with the HMS Belfast parked just across. Part of the Nicholson pub group, The Horniman at Hays is famed for its traditional pies, such as the fish pie or the game suet pudding. Other classic pub grub is available as well, along with a changing array of cask ales, house gin and other intriguing thirst-quenchers.

Great location for a pub right next to the river, there are some outside tables too. The interior is cosy and traditional but it's a large venue. It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon but the service was still speedy, plus there was a good choice of drinks available.
