Brazilian Churros

The Spanish might have come up with churros originally, but South American countries have adopted them wholeheartedly, adding their own little twists – or, as in the case of Brazil, ridges. Less smooth than the traditional version, Brazilian churros feature more real estate to hold sugar or sauce. You can try them out at this Greenwich Market stall, coated in cinnamon and sugar, or filled with dulce de leche or chocolate fudge. They're vegan, too.
