Veg Box Café London
Veg Box Café London er et café og restaurant på 136 Marylebone Road, Marylebone i London.
Coming to London from Canterbury, the Veg Box Café offers a cosy, nature-inspired space with plenty of wood and green tones. Serving breakfast, brunch and lunch seven days a week, the independent café specialises in plant-based food, eschewing artificial ingredients or additives in favour of fresh, seasonal produce sourced from local farms.
I live just above this restaurant and have now visited 3 times in 5 days.
I have never been vegetarian but thought in view of its proximity to my home I would give it a try.
I was astonished!
The quality of the food was superb, far better than meat based dishes ( and no doubt healthier) and I had various hotpots and curries.
On my last visit yesterday I had as a side a baked potato.
Even that humble dish was delicious, moist and flavourful.
I was served by two charming ladies,Lena and Sindy.
They were both knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.
The upstairs has been beautifully furnished although this is not apparent from the ground floor and I would suggest the owners display a photo of the upstairs on their window as there is only limited seating downstairs.
I love this place and most certainly will be a frequent customer.
Well done!
