It dates back to 1916 and used to be used as a wartime telephone exchange in the '40s. Nowadays, it's home to 138 rooms, all in different sizes, decorated tastefully. In the lobby and Quarter Bar, several architecturally themed artworks are up for sale, all by artists with a connection to the area, which changes every six months or so. The Quarter Bar serves an all-day menu and an afternoon tea with cocktails. Head downstairs to the Londinium restaurant for a varied menu of hearty dishes.
