The large Brockwell Park in Brixton is a community hub as much as a public park, with a community-run miniature railway and BMX track amongst its ponds, meadows and gardens. There are a number of historic buildings here as well, including the Brockwell Lido and the “Little Ben” clock tower dating back to the 19th century. In summer, the park hosts various commercial and community events, from music festivals to the Lambeth Country Show.
