Located in Islington, Bunhill Fields Burial Ground is a former cemetery dating back to the 1660s. Notably, it's the resting place of artist William Blake and writer and preacher John Bunyan. This non-denominational burial ground was popular with non-conformists. The grounds are Grade I listed and there are thousands of people buried here. It's also rumoured to have been the site of a plague pit.

I came here for a walk and a change of scenery and it was good. It’s small but peaceful and atmospheric. It’s worth a visit if you like finding surprising places in London, when you’re here it’s so easy to forget that you’re only minutes away from Old Street roundabout. Unique and nice to visit.
