Caldesi in Marylebone

Classic Italian cooking that never goes out of style

Founded by Italian celebrity chef Giancarlo Caldesi, the eponymous Marylebone flagship is a classy spot for indulging in authentic Italian fare. Priding itself on its use of artisanal Italian ingredients and fresh seasonal produce, the welcoming restaurant serves a menu spanning the full range of Tuscan favourites.

In the heart of the city, just moments from the bustle of Oxford Street, you'll find everything from classic cicchetti snacks to pizzas, handmade pasta, veal Milanese, and other classic Italian favourites waiting for you. The à la carte offerings are regularly spiced up with one-off dinners or seasonal specials highlighting a certain ingredient, and the food is accompanied by fine Italian wines and expertly mixed cocktails.

The spacious Marylebone restaurant welcomes groups of all sizes, with seating options ranging from intimate, polished marble tables for two, to big banquet-style tables with crisp white tablecloths, ideal for a family feast. With a cosy, vintage interior featuring plenty of artwork and polished details, and warm staff who make you feel at ease, Caldesi is an old-school bastion of Italian cuisine that champions the time-honoured essence of the country's beloved hospitality tradition – no gimmicks, just good food, good drink, and good company.
