Cockney's Pie & Mash Shop, however, successfully breaks down any geographical barriers, serving traditional pie and mash to hungry Portobello Road marketgoers. They're young compared to some of London's other pie purveyors, dating back “only” to the mid-1990s, but the food is authentic and tasty.
