At two Michelin-starred Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, the innovative chef brings his trademark experimentalism and creativity to the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel in Knightsbridge. Dishes on the à la carte menu are inspired by recipes from historical British cookbooks dating back to the 13th century.
The decor has a similarly historical feel - walls are decorated with custom-made porcelain wall sconces in the shape of antique jelly moulds and the kitchen has a unique pulley-system for spit-roasting over an open fire. Book the chef's table or private dining room for an exclusive experience, or head outside to The Hyde Park terrace, which is open in the warmer months and serves a lighter menu.
