Frame Notting Hill er en restaurant og bar på 39 Hereford Rd i London.
Conceived as a place where art, cuisine, and community overlap, Frame is a cosy little wine and tapas bar tucked away in Notting Hill, perfect for when you want a glass of something excellent to go with your table full of delightful nibbles.
With an overall shabby-chic aesthetic that isn't afraid of its quirkier leanings, Frame has a welcoming vibe to it from the moment you set foot through the door. Grab a table opposite the bar, nip into the enchanting indoor garden area, or book the softly lit private cellar, and peruse the seasonal assortment of tapas dishes.
Inspired by Spanish culinary tradition but finding inspiration across the Mediterranean and further afield, the Notting Hill restaurant serves croquettes, charred vegetables, chorizo, and other familiar favourites, often with inspired twists.
Particular attention is paid to wine, with the sharp list incorporating a selection of Spanish cavas and sherries alongside the hand-picked assortment of reds, whites, and in-betweens. The bottles, sourced from around the globe, encompass both renowned classics and exciting new offerings from small, independent producers, making Frame a treat for newcomers and seasoned oenophiles alike.

As someone who is coeliac, eating out can be a bit of a minefield, but the team here were incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring. They walked me through the menu and flagged everything that was safe, which put me totally at ease. The tortilla española was fluffy and golden, and the grilled padron peppers with sea salt were moreish. It's rare to feel so well looked after when you have dietary restrictions.
