This traditional pie, mash and eel shop has been around since 1902, and they've been serving their menu of mouthwatering pies, mash and green liquor ever since. The Thames used to be filled with eels, which were perfect for stuffing into pies, and although the pies are commonly filled with other fillings these days, most pie and mash shops still serve eels as a nod to the pie and mash heydays. Enjoy a taste of a quintessentially British dish in the city centre before walking off your meal with a stroll down the Thames.
