The Salvador & Amanda tapas restaurant has been bringing Spanish fiesta vibes to Covent Garden for over 15 years, relying on tasty small plates and a fun atmosphere to keep crowds hanging around late into the night on weekends.

Situated close to both Leicester Square and Covent Garden tube stations, Salvador & Amanda is a stylish place whose exposed brickwork, wood panelling, leather banquettes and candlelit ambiance might be at odds with the stereotypical images of sunny Spanish beaches, but certainly provide an intimate, casual setting for the lengthy fiestas that go on there. With flamenco dancing and live DJs a regular part of the proceedings, the restaurant is a lively night-time spot as much as it's a daytime eatery.

The menu at Salvador & Amanda features a wide assortment of the famed Spanish small plates, from meat and seafood dishes such as jamón croquettes, grilled chorizo and pan-fried king prawns, as well as vegetarian options like patatas bravas, fried mahon cheese and stuffed peppers. You can order as you go, keep yourself fuelled for the dancing and the drinking. The latter features a selection of Spanish wines and beers, cocktails such as margaritas, and the essential component of any proper fiesta – jugs of sangria. Sangria is also included in the Saturday bottomless brunch experience, which features three courses and unlimited cava, sangria, beer or wine for 90 minutes.
