There are few places that do a bowl of creamy ramen quite as comforting as Shoryu. Warm, creamy bowls of Japanese soup filled with 12-hour pork broth and topped with char sui barbecue pork belly. They also do a delicious mushroom broth which is suitable for vegans, amongst other tasty Japanese side dishes.

Went with the teenager and he was happy. Yes it’s a fast food vibe and the menu is limited, tables tiny. However, it does what is says ie ramen and it does it well. Not a place to hang around in. We were in and out in 40 mins. Warm and tasty on a rainy evening. Would come again though for sure!
