This year, once again, Piccadilly Gardens will become the family-friendly Winter Gardens, filled with yuletide bars, food stalls, and craft vendors. There will be a stage hosting bands, carolers, and DJs playing Christmas tunes all season long. The festive vibe is best enjoyed with a locally brewed ale from the bar alongside a hog roast pork with sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce served in a barm (that's what northerners sometimes call a soft white roll). There's a covered marquee with ample seating if the weather doesn't play ball.
