Haigh Woodland Park

Haigh Woodland Park has a history dating back to Anglo-Saxon times, which is where its name 'Haga' came from. The park boasts all kinds of flora and fauna, including beech, oak, and Scots pine, which make up over forty miles of paths with woodland greenery and are frequented by a variety of wildlife. It's also home to the Jubilee Legacy Walks and the Heritage, Nature and People project, promoting outdoor activities and conservation efforts. The park is the place to go for various experiences, like a miniature railway, golf courses, a rope course and an exciting children's play area. There are also plenty of picnic tables, a café, a bakery, a farm shop, and more.
