This is the street level sushi restaurant, which is related to the exclusive downstairs gourmet sushi restaurant Soyokaze. I got take away from this place and it was perfect. They are also one of the only places in Stockholm where you can get toro and otoro. Amazing.

Amazing experience in this very intimate setting. The only place I’ve found in Stockholm that can really compete with top sushi places at the international level. Amazing otoro. We got the omakaze menu together with sake pairing. The chef’s daughter is the sake sommelier and she is told us the reason behind each pairing with so much passion. Only downside is the cost. It’s justified but it makes it difficult to go there more often!

I went back to Farang after several years and I decided to upgrade my rating (from 4 to 5) based on this great experience. For a table of 4, we ordered our own version of the tasting menu and it was amazing. Highlights included: hamachi and tuna sashimi, fried soft shell crab, caramelised pork, beef short rib in green curry. Desserts were also delicious. I want to go back soon!
