Since 2010, Stockholm has been Emmi’s home turf, following her move from the open landscapes of Skåne. After earning her journalism degree, she began working as a reporter, web editor and TV producer at Aftonbladet, Bonnier News and Aller Media. When the role as editor-in-chief at Thatsup came up in 2018—offering the chance to combine her passions for writing and nightlife—there was no hesitation. Getting to know different cities and countries through their culinary offerings is a constant hunger for Emmi, one that is never satisfied.

These days, Emmi keeps one foot on Stockholm’s bustling streets, while the other has stepped into the peaceful countryside north of the city, where children, a dog and gardening keep her busy between work, restaurant visits and spa weekends.
